Associate Optometrist – Join the Team at Eyedeology Optometry (Calgary Area)

Are you an energetic, growth-oriented optometrist with a passion for vision therapy, dry eye management, myopia control and specialty contact lenses? We’re looking for you!

At Eyedeology, we’re about vision and wellness patient-centred practice committed to clinical excellence, education, and building a legacy of specialty services in the Calgary area.

Why Eyedeology?

You’ll be part of an ambitious, well-equipped clinic that offers full-scope optometry—but with clear focus on advanced services like neuro-visual therapy, dry-eye diagnostics & treatment, myopia management protocols, and specialty contact lens fitting.

You’ll grow, train, and teach: We believe the ideal candidate wants to build expertise, lead programs and mentor others (staff, interns, students).

Supportive environment: capable staff complete pre-testing, diagnostics and dispensing support so you can spend time where it counts—with patients.

Vision for the future: opportunity to shape service lines, develop outreach, lead clinical teams and build a reputation across the region.

What We’re Looking For

You:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) licensed in Alberta (or eligible)

Strong interest (and preferably some experience) in one or more of: vision therapy / binocular vision, dry eye care & advanced anterior segment treatments, myopia control (ORTho-K, soft myopia-control lenses), specialty contacts (scleral, RGP, multifocal, etc)

A growth mindset: eager to build, to learn, to teach, to lead.

Excellent patient-care and communication skills—someone who can explain advanced treatment options clearly and compassionately.

Team-player who thrives in a collaborative culture.

Preferably someone who sees the opportunity to develop a special interest/ niche.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye exams and full-scope optometric care (routine & medical)

Lead and expand our specialty service lines: vision therapy/ binocular dysfunction, myopia management, dry eye clinics, specialty contact lens fitting

Educate patients and families about advanced care options: myopia posture, dry-eye lifestyle, vision therapy benefits

Mentor and train junior staff, optical/clinical assistants and students or interns (we may build a rotation program)

Collaborate on the growth strategy: service development, marketing, community outreach, clinical protocols

Participate in clinic meetings, review of clinical outcomes data and help refine key performance indicators (KPIs) as Eyedeology continues to scale.

What We Offer

Competitive compensation package (commensurate with experience).

A modern, well-resourced clinic (state-of-the-art diagnostic instruments, specialty lens portfolio, dry-eye technology)

Flexibility in schedule—our focus is on quality care.

A welcoming, collaborative team culture—led by Dr. Farrah supported by strong administrative/optical staff

Opportunity to shape your career path: build a niche, lead a service, and grow into a senior role.

How to Apply

Please send your cover letter (highlighting your specialty interests and how you want to grow), your resume, and two professional references to:
