Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide full-scope optometric care, including eye exams, vision correction prescriptions, and management of ocular diseases in a dynamic and modern practice. This position offers a guaranteed minimum salary and we are proud to offer a healthy work-life balance with no weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
• Diagnose and treat common eye conditions and diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye.
• Co-manage patients undergoing refractive or cataract surgery.
• Educate patients on eye health and vision correction options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Work closely with optical staff to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Active provincial licensure to practice optometry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for patient care and eye health.
