Availability: Casual to start with an opportunity to move to Full-time or Part-time in the future
As an assistant in our busy optometric office, the candidate will initially be trained to use equipment for preliminary testing of patients in preparation for seeing the doctor, followed by cross-training in all areas of the clinic including supplementary/advanced testing procedures, reception and patient management duties, spectacle dispensing (lens and frame selection, spectacle adjustments and repairs, optical laboratory procedures), and administrative tasks as appropriate.
