 Northern Lights Optometry is a well-established, community-focused, full-scope optometric practice with 50 years of service in the city and a loyal patient base. We pride ourselves in offering the highest level of eyecare and customer service. Currently we are a multidoctor practice with state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and management of ocular disease as there isn’t a local Ophthalmologist, so a large percentage of our practice is devoted to ocular disease. Our equipment includes Zeiss Cirrus 6000, Humphrey visual field analyzer, Optos Monaco (Fundus/OCT), Reichert Vrx auto-phoropters and much more. Our clinic serves a diverse patient base both in age as well as socioeconomics. The doctors in our clinic have excellent working relationships with all healthcare providers in our community including the locum ophthalmologists who travel to Whitehorse throughout the year. 

 Ideally, we are looking for a full-time optometrist. New graduates are welcome, and all enquiries are kept confidential. Salary to be determined depending on work commitment, ideally 40 hours/week Monday through Friday. We offer competitive annual salaries (starting at $170,000.00 based on full-time employment), plus retention bonuses with multiyear terms and our compensation package includes extended medical benefits/corporate health plan opportunities for full-time employees. We are also willing to contribute to moving expenses with the signing of a multiyear employment term. All expenses associated with employment such as local licensing, continuing education, liability insurance etc. will be paid for by Northern Lights Optometry Ltd.
