Summer Employment for Optometry Student

First Optometry is a long-established, independent optometry practice providing quality eye care, prescription and non-prescription eyewear, contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye care, and other related services. We have a reputation for a high standard of clinical and optical care, personalized service, and a friendly atmosphere. We enjoy a loyal clientele! We are currently seeking full-time student (part-time may be considered) to join our growing fun-loving and dynamic team.

Qualifications that we are looking for include excellent communication skills, a pleasant and caring manner, a professional attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work as a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities of the role will likely include:

• Perform minor frame repairs and adjustments
• Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear
• Pre-testing patients
• Contact lens teaches
• General office duties (answer phone, tidy dispensary, greet patients)

Our office is located in a busy outdoor plaza within walking distance of Starbucks and many other shops and dining options.
