Summer Position for Optometry Student

Are you passionate about educating patients of all ages and helping them achieve their best vision?  Progressive Vision Centre in St. Catharines is seeking a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic Optometry Summer Student to join our team for a full-time position starting in April 2026.

We’re a busy, independently owned, full-scope optometry practice, providing excellent and compassionate care to a diverse community.

Job Responsibilites

• Ordering and verification of spectacle lenses
• Frame adjustments, fitting, measurements and repairs
• Contact lens teaches
• Pre-testing patients
• Processing payments and insurance
• Assisting patients with frame and lens selection
• Reception duties including answering phones and booking appointments
