Vision Therapist / Healthcare Therapy Assistant (Training Provided, No Weekends)

InDepth Vision is expanding! We are looking to add another Vision Therapist to our fun, collaborative, and dedicated team.

This is a part-time position (2–3 days per week) with the possibility of full-time hours becoming available for the right applicant. Work hours are Monday–Friday — no weekends!

This role is an excellent fit for applicants with backgrounds in kinesiology, psychology, education, rehabilitation, or healthcare who enjoy teaching, coaching, and helping people develop new skills.

InDepth Vision is a full-scope Optometry and Vision Therapy practice located in Milton, Ontario. We provide comprehensive eye care and specialize in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation, helping patients improve visual skills that affect reading, learning, and daily function.

COMPENSATION

$18–$26 per hour, depending on experience
• Opportunity for increased hours as the practice grows

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Conducting Vision Therapy sessions with patients of all ages
• Teaching visual skills exercises and tracking patient progress
• Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records
• Preparing therapy equipment and materials
• Assisting doctors with patient care and testing when required
• Communicating with patients and parents about therapy goals and progress

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:

• Experience as a Vision Therapist and/or in an Optometry office (an asset but not required)
• Curious and eager to learn
• Desire to work as part of a team
• Solid organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed and accurate records
• A passion for helping people
• Enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer and time management skills
• Interest in long-term growth within the practice
